Nickel 200 and Nickel 201 are both commercially pure (C.P) nickel alloys that are solid solution strengthened. They possess excellent mechanical properties across a wide temperature range. Additionally, they exhibit exceptional resistance to various corrosive environments, particularly in hydroxides.
Nickel 201 is a revision of Nickel 200 and is specifically designed to control the carbon content. This carbon control prevents the material from becoming susceptible to intergranular corrosion (IGC) within the temperature range of 600-1400°F.When supplying Nickel 200/201 Round Bars/Rods to clients, several important documents are provided. These documents typically include a third-party test report, MTC-En10204/3.1b (Mill Test Certificate), packaging list, heat treatment chart, and Quality Assurance Plan (QAP).
